Gentoo™ Hydrophobic Coating
The Revolution in Coating Technology
Gentoo is a “flexible ceramic” sol-gel coating that combines polyurethane and polysilane with a fluorinated layer. Funded by the US Military for F-35, F-16 & F-18 fighter jet canopies, it creates an ultra-thin (5 microns), clear, durable coating that is extremely repellent, anti-corrosive, and flexible. One coat delivers anti-corrosion, self-cleaning, water and solvent repellency, UV resistance, and chemical resistance across a temperature range of -50°C to 200°C.
